Ishac Bertran’s Analog Vinyl Sampling (Video)

Die etwas andere Art des Samplens…

“Sectors from a vinyl record are cut and replaced by pieces with exact shape from other records. When played in a vinyl player the needle follows the grooves from both sectors creating sampled tunes or loops.” – Vimeo-Videobeschreibung

Re$uS & flowOne – Plattenparty 2

We finally uploaded Vol. 2 of the Plattenparty series, released late 2010.
flowOne and me once again dropped those heat rocks for your listening pleasure. Again, some 100+ songs in 70+ minutes cleanly mixed and mastered (multitrack). In comparison to Vol.1 the tunes on this mix are less known but are nonetheless funky!

If you are into funky music you should give this a try. You won’t regret!

“the one-minute narrative centers around a dj’s secret ingredients—the dusty records and obscure samples that are brought to life in sonic compositions. as the dj pulls records from crates, handwritten notes are scrawled across screen, and fragments of audio are added to the mix.” – Vimeo-Videobeschreibung

Vinyl Record Day 2010

Also: Huldigt Thomas Alva Edison! Gestern war Vinyl Record Day…

Vinyl Record Day is the First Nonprofit organization dedicated to:

The Preservation of the Cultural Influence,
the Recordings and the Cover Art of the Vinyl Record

Celebrating our Fondest Music with Friends and Family

Promoting the Future of Vinyl
