10 Jahre Mush-Records

Der erste freie-Musik-Post im Jahre 2009 auf dougegen.de kommt von keinem anderen Label als Mush Records!

Eine kleine Selbstbeschreibung des Labels:

“Mush Records is an electronic based record label. Mush puts out a wide range of electronic music that might fall into the following categories: electronic instrumental, underground hip-hop, downtempo, abstract hip-hop, experimental, indie-rock, jazz-based grooves, turntablist compositions, electronic pop, saturated folk, left-field, dreamy stuff, more versions of hip-hop, and on and on. We can’t really figure out what to call it all – to us it’s just music that we believe in and listen to.”

Mush beheimatet so schöne Künstler wie zB. Andre Afram Asmar, Antimc, Boom Bip, Busdriver,  Curse Ov Dialect, Daedelus, Doseone, iD, Jel, K-The-I???, Listener, Octavius, Omid, Radioinactive, S.E.V.A., Sleeper, Thavius Beck und Villain Accelerate.

Anlässlich des 10-jährigen Jubiläums hat der Mush-Musiker Thavius Beck zwei 40 Minuten-Mixe aus hauseigenen Produktionen zusammengestellt.

Carlo – Phi + 888

Seit heute gibt es den zweiten φ-Mix
von Carlo auf Rhythm Incursions.
Ohne Trackliste, dafür aber mit der Möglichkeit Carlo selbst zu kontaktieren wenn man fragen hat. (carlok7@gmail.com)

Der Erste Phi-Mix
wurde am 21. Oktober 2008 veröffentlicht.

Ausserdem gibt es noch einen etwas älteren Mix von Carlo, der Vol. 888 Mix.

Die Musikbeschreibung für die drei Mixe halte ich mal relativ einfach:

BeatsBeatsBeats, Rock und andere Musik!

Er selbst sagt über die Phi-Reihe:

“The general idea with this mix is to play edits of songs I find particularly interesting/engaging/inspiring that did not yet get the recognition I think they deserved. As with “Vol. 888″, the idea is not to mix songs according to tempo, but rather according to tuning and feel, in the high-school-mix-tape-for-your-girl fashion. And no, once again, there will be no tracklist, but feel free to drop me a line if you need specific info about a track…I’ll see what I can do. Massive thanks to everyone that spread the word about any of my releases, as well as those that bought my music…There’s a bunch more coming your way. Final thanks go to the Rhythm Incursions extended family, for allowing me to contribute to this constant, impressive musical output. Epic.”

DJ KidCut presents Dichter2Productions Mixtape

DJ KidCut bekannt aus den Filmen, ääääh, von den Mixtapes Orale Fixierung, From here to Fame, From America to Germany hat schon wieder einen Mix veröffentlicht.

Wann schläft dieser Mensch eigentlich mal?
Mir scheint, als würde er niemals schlafen. Sein neuster Streich Mix beinhaltet ausschließlich Dichter2Productions Werke.
Die Zusammenarbeit der beiden Stuttgarter ist, soweit ich weiß, über WebBeatz zustande gekommen.

Der werte Herr Dichter2Productions, auch bekannt als DichterDichter, ist einer von Webbeatz´s Most-Wanted Produzenten und außerdem kein unbeschriebenes Blatt.
Seine Musik erinnert sehr an Untergrund-HipHop aus Amiland.
Kein Wunder also, dass er neben seiner Crew Third Kind auch schon Künstler wie minlus & mccracken, bishop, slaine, sabac red, pro & reg, intelligence, teddy faley, oz, divine allah, dajule steilz, romenatic, cam.l & phroe, crew54,  smoke & the walker, czar1,  mit Instrumentalen bestückt hat.

Mit der Stimme gehostet von Cyrus und im Internet gehostet von Rappers-Guide.

Der Dezember 2008 Mix für everydaybeats dot net kommt von DJ Ian Head und ist komplett Cover-Versionen gewidmet. Der Mann aus Brookly mischt 39 Minuten lang eine schöne Auswahl von Soul, Funk und ein bisschen HipHop. SEHR geil!

DJ Snatchatec – Indigo (Rhythm Incursions)

Gestern Abend: apfelzapfel liegt auf seinem 30 Jahre alten braunen Sofa, ist nicht ansprechbar und wirkt als hätte sein Geist seinen Körper verlassen. Hilfe? NEIN!
Verantwortlich für diesen Zustand ist, man kann es sich fast denken, MUSIK …

Indigo nennt sich der Gast-Mix von DJ Snatchatec, den man sich bei Rhythm Incursions durch die Leitung ziehen kann. Der Münchner bildet zusammen mit seinem guten Freund, dem Equinox Cheffe DJ Scientist, die Dedicated Beatheads. Snatchatec steht schon seit einigen Jahren hinter/vor den Plattenspielern und DJte schon für einige namhafte Musiker.
