J Dilla feat. Nas – The Sickness (Video)

Mal wieder posthumes Material von J Dilla. Aber dieses Mal in gut. Viel von den Sachen, welche nach Dillas Tod veröffentlich wurden, war ja leider eher unteres Mittelmaß.

„The Sickness” featured Nas, wurde von Madlib produziert und ist ein offizielles Video zum neuen Album „The Diary”. Das hier vorliegende Material ist übrigens das lange verloren geglaubte J Dilla Vocal-Debüt – welches eigentlich für ein Release im Jahr 2002 gedacht war. Laut Pressemitteilung “die letzte Sammlung von unveröffentlichtem Material, das der visionäre Produzent zu Lebzeiten rausbringen wollte.“

J Dilla – Donut Shop (Free-Download)

So viele Künstler veröffentlichen posthum noch ihre Werke. So auch J Dilla, der im Februar 2006 verstarb (R.I.P.).

“Donut Shop” war ursprünglich ein Serato-Bundle und gab´s auf Vinyl (eine Seite Timecode, eine Seite Dilla-Beats)… Jetzt haut Stones Throw die Beats als Dankeschön für alle Newsletter-Abonnenten als freien Download raus.
