Cuthead – Blocker EP + Murdoc Album

“Screamo, Powerpop und Religiös”, das sind die Musikrichtungen die der aus Dresden und von kunst:stoff Breakz stammende Cuthead bei Myspace angegeben hat.
Auf seiner “Blocker – EP” von 2006 sowie dem neueren Album “Murdoc” (2008) geht die sehr experimentelle Musik aber eher in Richtung HipHop, Breaks und Electronica; oft intrumental.

Adult Swim – World Wide Reneval Program (Sampler for FREE)

Die Jungs und Mädels von Adult Swim erfreuen das Internet mal wieder mit freier Musik!

World Wide Reneval Program heisst der 11 Lieder starke Sampler. Mit dabei sind Cool Kids, Kovas, Hollywood Holt, Numeric, Diverse, Proton, Via Tania, Vast Aire, Push Button Objects und die Free Moral Agents.

Von bouncig über gediegen und elektronisch ist die Palette breit, was die Musik betrifft. Aber auch die elektronischen Lieder sind teils HipHop angehaucht.

NickNack – QuickMix´s

Nick Malkiewicz besser bekannt als NickNack, Big Knows und Spectaculous stammt aus Dallas/Texas, beschäftigt sich mit DJing seit 1989, hatte 6Jahre seine eigene Radio-Show auf KVRX (“Bside Mixshow”), ist in der Jazz Band BLAZE Mitglied und stand schon auf der Bühne mit unteranderem Outkast, Big Pun, Dead Prez, Dougy Fresh, Mixmaster Mike, KRS One, DJ Kool Herc, RJD2 und Diverse.

NickNack betreibt seit einiger Zeit einen Podcast der da so schön heisst: “NickNack QuickMix Podcast”
